With the popular Internet novel Tungkun Forest as adapted screenplay, this ambitious film follows original story closely, such as those Murakami style narrations, which will be favoured by hardcore fans. Nevertheless, I have to say it failed to turn a popular fiction to motion pictures, where a solid filming and directing skill is required, like what Ang Lee did to Life of Pi.

The retro stylish bounty hunter story by screenwriter Fung Chih-Chiang is quite creative. Nevertheless, this film really has a big potential which is just failed to realise.
